I am a writer living in New York. My short fiction has recently appeared in The Drift, Joyland, and The Cleveland Review of Books. My essays, criticism and reporting have appeared in The New York Times and The Baffler, among other places.
I have been a film critic for Cultured magazine and a newsroom employee at The New York Times, including stints as an editor and newsletter writer.
I am currently pursuing an MFA in fiction at NYU, supported by the Writers in the Public Schools fellowship.
