Mariah Kreutter is a fiction writer and journalist living in New York City. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Drift, Joyland, and The Baffler, among other places. She holds an MFA in creative writing from NYU, where she was a departmental fellow and an adjunct instructor, and a degree in English from Yale. Her work has been supported by the Oxbelly Foundation, where she was a 2026 fellow in fiction. She is represented by Susan Golomb at Writers House.
